Eligibility

SFF’s staff and Board of Directors conduct a competitive review process for office space grants. Awards are based on the following:

  • Alignment with the Foundation Board’s mission and client service priorities,
  • The applicant’s organizational capacity to support its mission, including program quality and effectiveness, staff and board volunteer leadership, and the agency’s reputation and experience,
  • The applicant’s capital structure to support its mission, and
  • The applicant’s effective use of space relative to the available unit(s) open

Availability

The office space application process for the Sobrato Center for Nonprofits in Redwood Shores is now closed and received applications are under review. Decisions will be made available on a rolling basis throughout 2012. 

The Sobrato Center for Nonprofits in Milpitas is currently at capacity. There may be some vacancies in mid-2012. Please visit our website for updates as to how to apply for office space at that time. To be placed on an email list to receive the application when it is available, please email Grants@Sobrato.org

The Sobrato Center for Nonprofits in San Jose is currently at capacity. All tenants are in long-term leases, so we do not expect openings in the near future.
